Yes, heart beats have a graph that resembles periodic motion. For example, when in a movie a patient is in a coma, the patient is hooked up to a machine that takes the heart beat over a period of time. Those graphs resemble periodic functions, yes?
Heartbeats as a function of time, pretty much anything moving in a circle-like way. Sleep cycles. Yes?
